Ship outfitting includes interior structure (inner walls, ceilings, floors, etc.), furniture and living facilities (cooking, sanitation, etc.), painting and coating, doors and windows, ladders and railings, masts, hatch covers, etc.
In addition to the propulsion system, other ship devices and equipment include anchoring and mooring equipment, rudder equipment and steering gear, life-saving equipment, fire-fighting equipment, internal and external communication equipment, lighting equipment, signaling equipment, navigation equipment, cargo handling equipment, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, seawater and fresh water systems, ballast water system, sounding and venting systems for liquid tanks, bilge drainage system, ship electrical equipment, and other special equipment (depending on the specific needs of the ship).
Monthly maintenance of the ship is carried out in the form of a monthly maintenance plan (C, D level maintenance). The main contents are: checking the fastening of deck equipment and the effectiveness of waterproof and sunscreen devices; checking the water (wind and rain) tightness of windows, doors and covers; cleaning or replacing fuel, oil filters and air filters.
Check the lubrication status of the main engine and other equipment; add lubricating oil to each equipment according to the regulations. Regular inspection of wind oil cut-off, fire alarm, and centralized monitoring; check the sealing performance and oil quality of the hydraulic steering gear pipeline; check the pump water seal, tail shaft oil, and water seal sealing performance; other necessary maintenance work.
